For some people, eating is merely functional – a satisfaction of basic human needs. I am not one of those people.
My love of good food and all that comes with it, originated back home; where every summer, under the strict guidance of my nonna Rosa and the hot Australian sun, my family would congregate on milk crates in the backyard, ready to cut and puree a truck load of the finest tomatoes Sydney had to offer, into hundreds of carefully selected and perfectly seasoned glass bottles – boiling them on an open fire for hours, to produce our own signature pasta sauce.
Since moving to the London in 2011, my love for simple authentic flavours, fresh quality ingredients and a cheeky post on social media while at the dinner table has become an obsession. This blog is a collection of my favourite and most memorable encounters for you to enjoy.
